"i stamp for lara" weekly challenge #1

over at the we stamp for lara fundraiser
is the cupcake challenge
this week we have been asked to make something with a cupcake theme
i am in christmas present making mode so i thought i would use the challenge as a way to kick start my present making.

this is for a friend who loves cupcakes
and is a whizz at making them.
i am hoping she will make some yummy xmas ones
and use my box of cupcake accessories to pretty them up!
sssshhh but i am secretly hoping she doesn't come and visit my blog sssshhhh

 my cupcake box contains
12 cupcake toppers
12 cupcake holders
12 serviettes

i used stampin up's jolly holiday dsp and perfect punches stamp set.

cupcake holders were made from this template

i used the christmas perfect punch stamp with my scallop circle punch and some riding hood red and old olive ink plus a toothpick or so to make these toppers

i also stamped into some white serviettes

here are all the goodies packaged into the box
the box was 2 12x12 peices of card
top was scored at 70mm all around
bottom was scored at approx 67mm
large divider was
approx 20cm (1.5cm each end was folded to make a flap)
x 15cm (6x6 plus 2 1.5cm flaps)
small divider was
approx 11cm(1.5cm each end was folded to make a flap)
x 15cm (6x6 plus 2 1.5cm flaps)
i promise i'll post a tutorial up soon to explain all that odd measurementy stuff lol

the lid was cut originally as a 10cm x 10cm square but it looked too small so i just randomly punched circles out using the 1" punch and stuck a thin window sheet to the back
i finished it all off with a lovely peice of green stripey ribbon and some of that noice red ribbon with a tag attached with twine.

if you want to join me and my stamping friends and help the lovely lara get the help she needs please come and join us and sign up at madonna's blog

cheers ears
